Are Your Partners And Employees Sharing Your Vision?
By FeaturesMan | February 8, 2008
Many entrepreneurs and those with an alert sense of creativity have difficulties with aligning support with their loved ones, partners and employees. Employees in general do not see a big picture that encompasses their fellow employees and the company at large. This applies to small business as well as large…
For example if we look at the three large auto makers in America and how there are constantly employee / employer exchanges going on one has to ask where is the real problem? This year the big three were passed out by Japanese automakers in sales in the US, if employees and management were in alignment we would not have experienced this contrary curve in sales swing.
Another example is a building contracting firm, size irrelevant, where there are skilled craftsmen in different phases of completing the project and the carpenters do not appreciate the demands of the sheet rocker who in turn do not appreciate the demands of the painters who have to deal with all the mistakes of all the trades and as they are the last to leave a job site the buck falls in their lap to ensure a really good finish, because they know their future is linked to the look and feel of an excellent finish.
As with any successful relationship communication is a very strong influential key that will define success or failure. As the creator of the enactment of the vision it is really your responsibility to bring all phases of any project in line with each other.
Modern day businesses have a new and enlightened audience to satisfy as the modern day client is more informed, more assertive and more likely to walk away from you if you are not in tune with them. Referrals are more significant for success than radio, TV or any other form of advertising and too many businesses ignore this very important element that may be a key to their lasting profitability and success.
With this in mind it will behoove you, the person in charge, to align all aspects of your business towards a common denominator and the cliché ‘when did service leave the service industry’ not apply to your business!!
Information is at your fingertips if you want to have a more successful venture where your partners and employees will be sharing your vision.
