In some instances ignorance appears to advantageous. This is especially the case when you can get off lightly for having committed some criminal offense. But seriously, just think of the cost that is involved in having to waste time being charged, and having to appear before the judge, and employ lawyers, etc. It is much better to have knowledge and avoid the whole affair.
The job market is a fair indicator of the value of ignorance. Just ask yourself, “Who gets paid the most. the ignorant or the uneducated?”
